One of the most influential people of the 1910's was of course our President, William Taft. Contrary to popular belief, Taft was actually a pretty good president. Although criticized a lot by the Progressive Party, Taft did many great things while in office. One of many great laws he passed was the Dollar Diplomacy plan which encouraged U.S. banks and businesses to make investments overseas. William Taft truly was influential to not only presidency, but America as well.
Woodrow Wilson, the twenty-eighth president of the United States, was another very influential person for the 1910's. He was known for his idealism, but more importantly, for his reaction to World War I. He managed to keep the U.S. from declaring war on Germany until 1917, but was also commended for his actions throughout the war. He proved himself to be an outstanding wartime leader and brought us through the war. Therefore, I would consider Woodrow Wilson to be a very influential citizen, and an exceptional president.
Henry Ford proved to be a genius after introducing his idea for the assembly line on automobiles. His idea helped shape the automobile industry, thus shaping America. Our society heavily depends on automobiles, and for this reason, Henry Ford will go down in history as a legend.
